Missions

We are seeking a top-level Research Analyst to join our Research & Analysis team. The candidate will be based first within our Research & Analysis Department in Paris.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to interface directly with some key clients and also participate in aspects of ongoing cross-border M&A transactions. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and highly talented candidate to take on a true level of professional responsibility. Our company’s culture is performance driven and we value the contribution of all team members. Some business travel may be required in Europe and Asia.

Responsibilities:

From the outset, the Analyst will play an important role in the Research & Analysis Department where mission-critical strategic intelligence is processed and analyzed. Responsibilities will include (1) Daily Press Review, including M&A trends / transactions in progress, (2) Identification of opportunities, (3) Support for pitch / proposal, (4) Statistical reviews, analysis of various industries and markets, (5) Management of different proprietary databases.

Profil recherché

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to learn and develop as a financial professional.
• A previous experience, preferable in Research Analyst role with a bank, consulting firm, asset management firm, or multinational.
• A degree from a top-tier university with an excellent academic record.
• Proven experience in markets research methodologies and strong analytical skills.
• Good skills in business reporting and power point presentation in English.
• Willingness to work within a dynamic entrepreneurial setting that demands self-motivation and creative problem solving skills. The analyst must take ownership of projects and also be able to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to work in a multicultural team environment with frequent communication with the firm’s research analysts based in Paris and Singapore.
• Participation in the CFA program considered very beneficial.
• A high level of poise and professionalism, especially when dealing directly with clients.
• Additional Asian languages are an asset.
