The portfolio manager is an operator of trading room. He is working on behalf of a bank or on its own for which he must build on the money he has available. The portfolio manager can be specialized in a product or market. Performance objectives and its risk limit are set by his superiors and risk manager.

Salary range

Between €28,500 and € 70,000
In addition to his salary, the portfolio manager receives bonuses based on performances up to 100% of its fix.

The portfolio manager may progress to positions in financial consulting or in managerial positions.
